An octet from the Carolina Concert Choir directed by Mr. Stephen Klein and accompanied by Mr. Tate Addis perform "You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Carousel with music by Richard Rogers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.
An octet from the Carolina Concert Choir directed by Dr. Michael Lancaster and accompanied by Mr. Richard Riccardi performed "Bridge Over Troubled Water” music as originally performed by Simon and Garfunkel and arranged by Clyde Sechler. Another song appropriate for our current times.
An octet from the Carolina Concert Choir directed by Dr. Michael Lancaster and accompanied by Mr. Richard Riccardi performed "The Huron Carol ( T’was In The Moon of Winter Time )”, which was originally composed by Father Saint Jean de Briebeuf for the Huron people in 1643. It is believed to be the first Canadian carol. It was translated to English in 1926 by Jesse Edgar Middleton. The basic tune is a 16th century French Canadian melody. The arrangement is by Stephen Chatman and published in a two-set volume called the Carols of the Nativity by Galaxy Music Corporation.
